Hello Goretti,
I find your activity very interesting. Actually, I think it can be at its best if the students you are teaching are not shy to speak in English because they are kind of "fluent" in their level. I was teaching English in a Finnish school and I had this kind of class. I had many students who were able to speak English and they were just waiting for an interesting activity to come up in order to express themselves in English.
Congratulations, I think you had a good idea!
